Hi! I am Lori from Paisley Passions. I am excited to be guest posting on Joy's blog today. I love her blog, so I feel honored to be posting on it! I am a wife to a wonderful hubby and mother to five great kids. Four boys and one princess. They keep me busy! When I am not busy playing wife or mom, I LOVE to create stuff. I do all kinds of things on my blog: furniture makeovers, thrifty finds, crafts, scrapbooking, photography, jewelry, tutorials. . .you name it, I have probably tried it! :) I love to create stuff. It is always fun to see what I can come up with and I am inspired by all of the other creative bloggers out there who share their passion to create with all of blog-land. I look forward to meeting each of you and hope you will take a minute to pop on over to my blog and say hi! Today I want to share a washer style necklace with a removable flower clip. I made this for a friend of mine and I haven't given it to her yet, so hopefully she doesn't peek at this post today! :) For this necklace, I used two packages of 5/16 flat washers and some black velvet ribbon.

I weave the ribbon in and out of the washer so that they lay slightly on top of each other. When I am finished, I added end caps and clasps to the end just like I would on a regular necklace.

For the clip, I used turquoise ribbon and made it into a flower rosette. Then I used some black material and made a circle and glued the rosette on the top. I added a clip to the back. The clip becomes very versatile because it can be used on the necklace, as a hair clip, or as a broach. Here are the supplies I used for the clip:
